LITTLE STAR TERMS OF SERVICE

Effective Date: January 4, 2026

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

The website little-star.co and the Little Star service (collectively, "the Service") are owned and operated by Twenty One West Inc. ("the Company"). By accessing or using the Service, whether through our website or via authorized third-party platforms, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. ELIGIBILITY & AUTHORIZATION

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service.

  • Authorized Use of Likeness: By uploading an image of a minor, you represent and warrant that you are (a) the child’s legal parent or guardian, or (b) have obtained express, verifiable permission from the child’s legal parent or guardian to process their likeness.

  • Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Twenty One West Inc., Little Star, and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or legal disputes arising from a lack of proper parental authorization for any images you upload.

3. AI CONTENT DISCLOSURE ("AS-IS")

  • Synthetic Content: In accordance with 2026 AI Transparency standards, you acknowledge that Little Star creates "Synthetic Content." Storybook components are generated using Artificial Intelligence.

  • No Guarantee of Likeness: Generative AI is an evolving technology. You acknowledge that outputs may contain visual artifacts (such as anatomical glitches) or variations in facial fidelity. The Service is provided on an "AS-IS" basis; we cannot guarantee an exact likeness between any preview image, generated character, and your original uploaded image.

  • Entertainment Only: Outputs are for personal entertainment and creative purposes only. They are not intended for official, legal, or medical identification.

4. PREVIEW & PRODUCTION WORKFLOW

  • The Approval Process: The Company may offer you the opportunity to view a digital preview of your book or representative images related to your order (such as character concepts or style samples). These images are intended to demonstrate the general aesthetic and artistic direction of the Service.

  • Final Authorization: If a preview or representative image is provided, your indication of approval on our website (typically by clicking a button such as "Looks Good," "Approve," or "Confirm") constitutes a final and irrevocable instruction to proceed with your book creation and final production.

  • Point of No Return: You acknowledge that the final printed book may contain variations from the representative images shown during the preview stage. Once approval is given, no further changes, edits, or cancellations can be made.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

  • Your Inputs: You retain all ownership of the original photos you upload. You grant Twenty One West Inc. a limited, royalty-free license to process these photos solely to generate your requested content.

  • The Physical Product: Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, perpetual license to possess, display, and share the physical storybook for personal, non-commercial use.

  • No Digital File Rights: Unless explicitly stated, the purchase of a physical book does not include a license to a digital file, nor the right to reproduce, scan, or reprint the content of the book in any other format.

  • Company Property: Twenty One West Inc. retains all rights, title, and interest in our story templates, character designs, prose, and proprietary AI workflow architecture.

6. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You agree not to upload any image that:

  • Contains nudity, sexually explicit content, or promotes violence.

  • Infringes on the intellectual property of third parties (e.g., celebrities or copyrighted characters).

  • Is intended to harass, stalk, or defame any individual.

7. DATA RETENTION & THIRD PARTIES

  • Third-Party Infrastructure: The Service utilizes industry-standard third-party cloud infrastructure and AI providers for processing and storage. You acknowledge that the Service is dependent on these external partners; Twenty One West Inc. is not liable for service interruptions or the independent data retention policies of these partners.

  • Technical Storage: To ensure reliability and fulfillment, we temporarily retain uploaded images and generated content on secure processing servers. These files are kept for as long as is commercially reasonable to fulfill your order and provide support, after which they are subject to automated purging.

8. THIRD-PARTY SALES PLATFORMS

Little Star books may be made available for sale on certain third-party platforms. These Terms of Service apply to the generation and use of the content regardless of the platform where the initial purchase was made.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Twenty One West Inc. for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

10. REFUND POLICY

Due to the immediate computational and production costs incurred, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds for "dislike" of AI artistic style or for variations between representative preview images and the final product.
